Five researchers of the INTERCOLL group led by professor Justin Zoppe gave talks and presented posters in this event.

The INTERCOLL group presented their latest research at the TAPPI International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials (TAPPI Nano 2025) in Girona, Spain (8–11 July 2025). The event brought together leading experts in nanocellulose and renewable materials to exchange knowledge and discuss cutting-edge advances in the field.

Professor Justin Zoppe contributed with a scientific talk, while our group members delivered both oral and poster presentations highlighting the progress of the ERC granted Project CELICOIDS.

A special highlight was Iman Ramazani Sarbandi winning 1st place in the Rapid Fire Session — an outstanding achievement, congratulations! 🎉

We sincerely thank the TAPPI Nano division chair Johan Foster, the conference chair, Marc Delgado-Aguilar, technical program chair Diego Gomez-Maldonado, Anderson Veiga and Sydney Brake for their role in organizing student activities and all for hosting such a dynamic and inspiring conference in the beautiful city of Girona.

We also gratefully acknowledge the support of the European Research Council (ERC) for funding the CELICOIDS project, which made this research possible.
