We’re excited to welcome Raíssa Gomes Braga to our research group!

Graduated in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemistry at São Paulo State University “Júlio de Mesquita Filho” (UNESP), Brazil.

She joins us for a six-month Research Internship Abroad at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), funded by a scholarship.

At UPC, she is developing a project focused on the production of biochar–nanocellulose membranes for the adsorption of emerging contaminants in wastewater, as a complementary part of her Master’s research in Brazil.

We’re delighted to have her with us and look forward to an inspiring collaboration ahead! 🌿💧
